01Is Stratos free for pilots?
Yes. Pilots never pay to fly with Stratos. These plans are for the virtual airline, and every pilot at every airline gets the full client whichever plan their airline is on.
02What counts as a flight?
A flight that is completed or diverted and filed through Stratos. Cancelled and abandoned flights don't count.
03What happens if we fly more than the free allowance?
You get a buffer of 100 more flights. We email you at 400 completed flights and again at 500, and your pilots keep flying. At 600, new flights pause until you upgrade or the count resets. The Free count runs by calendar month and resets on the 1st, whenever you joined. Flights already in the air always finish and file. Founding airlines get the same buffer on top of 1,000.
04What is the founding offer?
Every virtual airline set up on Stratos by 31 December 2026, including every airline already here, gets a free allowance of 1,000 completed flights a month instead of 500. It stays with the airline for good, so an airline that upgrades and later moves back to Free still has 1,000.
05We run more than one virtual airline. How does that work?
Free and Pro each cover one airline. Pro+ will cover up to 5 airlines on one plan, whether they belong to one group or are separate airlines you run, with your pilots switching between them in Stratos without signing out. That part is coming soon. Running more than 5? Get in touch and we'll work out what suits you.
06We already use features that will be on a paid plan. What happens to them?
You keep them. Anything your airline is using when the new pricing starts stays switched on for six months after that, so there's plenty of time to decide.
07Can we cancel?
Yes, any time. Paid plans are billed monthly from the day you subscribe, and you keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for, then move to Free. Cancel a new subscription within 14 days and we refund it in full. Nothing is deleted, and settings from a paid plan come back if you upgrade again.
