Who we are

Skyvex Software Pty Ltd (ABN 21 693 871 019, "we", "us", "our") is an Australian software company that builds Stratos, a multi-simulator ACARS and dispatch client for virtual airlines.

What we collect

Waitlist signup

When you join our waitlist, we collect your name, email address, virtual airline name, website (optional), and current ACARS solution (optional). We also log your IP address and browser user agent for security purposes.

Stratos desktop client

When you use Stratos, we collect flight telemetry data (position, altitude, speed, heading), PIREP data, and basic account information. This data is necessary to provide live tracking, automatic PIREP filing, and VA integration.

How we use your data

  • To provide and operate the Stratos service
  • To sync flight data with your virtual airline's platform
  • To send you service-related communications (confirmation emails, onboarding updates)
  • To monitor and improve the reliability of our service

Where your data is stored

Our servers and databases are located in Australia, hosted on Digital Ocean and Vultr. Your data may also pass through the following third-party services:

  • Cloudflare — CDN and DNS (international)
  • Postmark — transactional email delivery (US)

By using our service, you acknowledge that your data may be processed in these locations.

Third-party sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Flight and PIREP data is shared with your virtual airline's platform as part of the core service — this is the purpose of Stratos. We do not share your data with any other third parties beyond the infrastructure providers listed above.

Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you request deletion of your data, we will remove it within 30 days.

You can request to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct any inaccurate data
  • Delete your data
  • Export your data

Cookies

Our marketing site does not use tracking cookies or analytics. The Stratos web dashboard uses session cookies for authentication only.
